In Tribsees, many buildings are standing empty, especially in the historic city center. Over 70 buildings are abandoned, and there are many undeveloped plots of land. These vacancies demonstrate the decline of the once vibrant center, caused by historical and systemic factors as well as by the residents themselves. An art project aims to revive the area by transforming it into a bathing paradise, based on the assumption of rising sea levels due to climate change. A diving tower, accessible only at higher water levels, symbolizes this transformation.
